At Designer Exteriors we are fully trained by Millboard in all of their Decking & Cladding ranges.
We have 3 years of experience in installing Millboard Decking and have used Millboard cladding alongside decking.
All of our images on our Quotes & Website are our own design & installation projects.
Your proposed decking is at or slightly raised above ground so air flow around the deck would be limited. We would always suggest Outdure Aluminium as the best option for your project as there will be no chance of the frame rotting in the future like timber could.
Plastic inserts are also used alongside Aluminium Framing this to enable Millboard to be screwed down on the framing.
Our preferred framing option is Aluminium from Outdure. The strength & resilience of aluminium framing is ideal for all decking projects and by using Aluminium you are buying a framing system that will support the Millboard perfectly and satisfy Millboard Warranty conditions.
Outdure’s QwickBuild aluminium deck frame system is a versatile, moisture-proof, straight and level, structural solution designed for superior durability.
•Supports timber decking, composite decking, porcelain paving & synthetic turf.
•A range of joist-beam profiles for ultra-low to elevated decks.
•Millboard decking is screwed down onto a HDPE Recycled Plastic insert which is housed in the Outdure Framing.
At the time of prior to or at the start of construction we choose the best of the above mentioned options. All of these make sure that the deck is secure and will last to protect your investment and enable you use of the deck for many many years. The composite decking we install comes with a manufactures board warranty of 25 years. All of the decks we build are created using the best possible framing & fixings along with the best methods and structural integrity. We always fit the decking to the exact manufactures specifications. We do not compromise on an aspect of the build process meaning that you get a deck that is built to last and outlast the competition. We are fully trained and accredited by LANTRA.
